The C18U series column is a silica-based reversed phase column especially designed for UHPLC use. The use of sub-2-micron organic silica hybrid particles provides superior separation efficiency and mechanical strength.
In this application, pesticides commonly used on golf courses were analyzed using the C18U 2B. The wavelengths used for the detection were decided referencing to the analytical method written by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment: “Guidelines for Prevention of water pollution and damage to aquatic animals and plants by Agricultural Chemicals Used in Golf Course”. By using the described method, 9 types of pesticide can be analyzed within 6 minutes.
